Carl Colbert, Luis Boue, and Miguel Juncadella were instrumental in their firm achieving this award. The firm is committed to Community service and civic activity. Coral Gables Mayor Raul Valdes-Fauli, commented in his presentation of the award, "The CBAJ accounting firm and the three shareholders are a model for us all as both entrepreneurs and leaders in the community." Carl Colbert is a past Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and Secretary of the Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center Foundation. Luis Boue is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Coconut Grove, a member of the Board of Directors of the Visiting Nurses Association, member of the Advisory Council of Mission Marti, and Vice Chairman of the South Beach Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Miguel Juncadella is a member and past Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Miami West, PUENTE de Jovenes Cubanos, and a member of the Miami-Dade Public Schools Audit Committee.
